What the Owner had to Say
“The most notable thing from our perspective is that, as the owners, we were 300 miles away – Chuck Bowse and architect Laura Krekorian made it happen. We gave him great latitude and trusted him to make decisions. When Chuck was unsure he would email us photos and questions to get our input. Chuck has a great eye for detail and spent a great deal of time planning. He poured over the designs before he started anything and found a number of issues he thought needed to be addressed; finding them on paper in the design stage before they became problems in the building stage." - Ray & Sue O'Brien

Point Judith New Construction
Nary a tear was shed when the time came to take down the O'Brien's quaint old family beach house. Their newly built home would have extraordinary features and nautical appointments precisely meeting the family's specifications.
It would be built to take advantage of the location, the light, and the views. It would have privacy and all the conveniences. Chuck Bowse's challenge was to build this family's masterpiece on a 40 foot wide lot, literally on water's edge, exposed to driving winds and salt sea spray.
